Redmount Residential Home is a splendid villa-style home in the heart of the south-west Devon countryside, in the picturesque village of Buckfastleigh. It offers high quality care in a warm, nurturing environment.
Those who live here can enjoy extended views of the local area and unspoilt countryside from our sun room, which is just one of several lounge areas. There is also an outside decking area, offering the chance to enjoy the country air and spot the local wildlife. We’re particularly fond of feeding the birds and nature forms an integral part of our reminiscence therapy.
The home has an array of activities and entertainment available with something to suit everyone, including quizzes, board games, Bhangra dancing, flower arranging, chocolate making (and tasting!), rock ‘n’ roll singers and country bands. We encourage your loved ones to continue their hobbies as well as trying something new.
There is wi-fi throughout the home, so your loved ones can keep in touch via video and phone calls. We also have laptops for people to use if they wish to surf the internet or do some online shopping.
Family members and friends are welcome to visit as and when they like. Drinks and snacks are always available and we are happy to provide meals for visitors by prior arrangement.

I have worked in health and social care for many years, supporting various types of people. Most recently I started working at Redmount Residential Home where me and my team are passionate about providing person centred care which is responsive and inclusive. I believe residents should be at the heart of everything we do and we work hard to develop an open culture where residents, friends and families are involved in people's care.
