Since starting at Your Health in 2003 Vicki has held many positions before taking on the role of Managing Director in 2012. The company has grown a lot over the years and Vicki has been at the forefront of managing change, ensuring the business moves with the times. She is totally committed to ensuring we provide the best service to all the people who live in our homes, putting kindness and care at the heart of everything she does.

Vicki has a special interest in connecting with people through letters and postcards, and in 2019 launched ‘Post-cards of Kindness’, which is an initiative where the public send postcards to people in care homes. The scheme now runs internationally, with over 40,000 people being part of it.

Nicola has over 20 years’ experience in Elderly care and care home management. She has worked for larger care groups but loves the personalised approach that only a smaller provider like Your Health Ltd can give.

Nicola is responsible for ensuring compliance and leads the Management team across the group, promoting excel-lence in all areas of our service. She is a real, people person, always encourages positivity and forward thinking, encouraging all our services to go above and beyond.

Nicola used to be a Majorette and loved twirling her baton.

Sandra is an experienced care professional with over 20 years’ experience in care. Sandra worked for the company as a Home Manager, for several years before being promoted to her current role.

She has an excellent understanding of the regulations pertaining to our homes in both England and Wales. Sandra visits all homes on a regular basis to monitor compliance and carry out our internal quality monitoring visits.

She ensures all our homes are complying with the latest CQC/CIW regulations and monitors the homes through regular audits and support visits.

Sandra’s fun fact is that she has Tarantulas as family pets.

Mick has worked in the care sector for over 20 years and uses his knowledge and expertise to successfully support our services in ensuring they are safe places to work and live. Mick carries out regular Health and safety inspections and audits of all our sites to support the Home Managers.

His department ensures all our staff are trained in several subject areas, using a variety of practical and theory led courses to ensure everyone feels confident in their respective roles. Mick encourages all our staff to be the best they can be by supporting them to reach their full potential, this includes motivating staff through interactive train-ing workshops, looking for opportunities for staff to develop in their roles and encouraging staff to obtain further qualifications in their roles. Mick values the importance of adding quality to peoples’ lives and making a differ-ence.

Mick’s fun fact is he likes to wear tartan suits when going out.

Vicki joined our team in 2024 and has many years experience and knowledge in all things HR. She has a proven track record in building positive workplace cultures and is passionate about employee engagement. With a people-first mindset and focus on continuous improvement. Vicki champions inclusion and wellbeing across the group. She supports all managers and staff throughout the business from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations. Vicki will ensure our group is compliant in everything we do. She acknowledges and supports all changes and updates in HR Legislation.

Vicki’s fun fact is that she teaches spin at 7am! She thinks that’s fun!
